Since 1976, Jail Ministry of Onondaga County has worked to enhance the dignity and quality of life of incarcerated individuals in Onondaga County through daily presence, support, and advocacy. As a grassroots, spiritually-based community, we offer a variety of services that support the incarcerated and make our community a better place for all.
How to Help
Jail Ministry could not operate without our generous volunteers and donors, many of whom have supported the organization since its inception in 1976.
We have over 60 trained volunteers including Jesuit Novices, and over 100 individuals in our letter writing program.
